Hi All,I've been using Steam Link to play non-Steam games with my xbox 360 controller without much struggle up until now. Here is a list of non-steam games (and their platforms) I've been able to play this way WITHOUT VirtualHere: Witcher 3 (GoG), Mass Effect: Andromeda (Origin) and Titanfall 2 (Uplay I think). Usually, the solution involved setting the game to some compatibility mode (either Windows 7 or XP) and adding the game as a non-Steam game to my Steam Library and running it from Big Picture Mode without much fuss. Then I got Star Wars Battlefront 2 (SWBF2) as a gift and it has been nothing but a headache. I've tried every fix I could find on various forums and then found that VirtualHere is a thing. I will try to be concise and precise, but here goes: I saw that VH is now supported through Steam. I followed the instructions and enabled it on the Steam Link.
I know this is a bit dated, but stumbled across this and thought I'd try to help others. Realtek audio driver windows 10. It seemed to enable without a problem. I then installed VH on my PC (the free download). Went into big picture mode and fired up SWBF2. No controller recognition at all. Additionally, I've read from other sources that VH isn't working correctly if the controller doesn't show up as a recognized device under USB settings on the PC. This is the case for me - it doesn't show up. It still works on the other games, regardless of the VH status, so it SEEMS as if VH is doing nothing for me.Here's my OS and pertinent hardware config:I am running Windows 10 (fully updated) with the following hardware: (There are New Egg links.

Battlefront 2 Controller Setup
I have an Xbox 360 controller plugged in to my PC, it works great to play with in this game but I can't play with keyboard and mouse properly when it's plugged in.Whenever I try to switch back to keyboard/mouse controls I can't sprint, jump or fire any weapons unless I disconnect the controller which is rather annoying, especially since I prefer to switch back to the 360 controller when I get my hands on a vehicle. So, how do I solve this without crawling under my desk every two-three minues of gameplay? That's what I usually do with my pad, but I'll be extra careful in the future on that detail. The weird thing for me is that the game swaps back to the KBM UI, but I'm still stuck with being unable to do anything but walking/looking around with KBM.The same thing happened for me when I played the beta, with the extra bonus of the controller having the same issues (just being able to walk). I have not tried using the controller when I've run into these errors in the full game, I just unplugged the controller instead.
